Is my chat content sent to the licensing server?
No. The licensing API is designed to receive license, email, device, version, and limited product-event data. Saved chat content should remain local-first unless you intentionally export, share, or later enable a separate cloud/sync feature.
What pages does the extension read?
The extension is intended to run on supported ChatGPT pages such as https://chatgpt.com/*. It reads the page only to export or save the conversation you are working with.
What is stored in my browser?
The local library is stored with chrome.storage.local. Preferences, filename settings, button position, and license state may be stored with chrome.storage.sync so they can follow your browser profile.
Do I need an account?
No public customer account is required right now. You buy a license, receive a key, and activate it in the extension with the email used at purchase.
Why does activation ask for my email?
The email helps confirm that the license key belongs to the purchaser. One license is tied to one purchase email, with multiple allowed device activations.
Can I use Pro on more than one device?
Yes, within the activation limit shown on the pricing page and license policy. The default lifetime license supports a limited number of active devices.
What if I lose my license key?
Use the lost-license recovery page. Because raw keys are not stored, recovery may generate a replacement key tied to your existing license record.
What do I get with Free vs. Pro?
Free users can export and save within the free-plan limits shown in the extension. Pro unlocks unlimited/pro-level workflows, selected-chat export/save actions, and future batch or ZIP features when added.
What if export does not work?
Make sure you are on a ChatGPT conversation page, refresh the tab, and try again. For very large chats, try HTML or Markdown first or split the chat into smaller exports.
Can I get a refund?

Do you use ads or sell chat data?
No. The product is designed around local-first storage and paid licensing, not ads or selling saved chat content.
